By now, most of us have taken some sartorial advice from eternally chic Victoria Beckham. The British designer and former Spice Girl can usually spotted out and about in chic, tailored pieces, and a favourite look of hers is the little black dress. Although the balmy summertime temperatures are here, VB recently unveiled a couple of basic black ensembles on Instagram. You may believe that summer is the season of dreamy pastels and punchy neons, but this style icon clearly believes that black can be worn anytime at all- and she’s right!
Staying true to the rising temperatures ahead, Beckham looks elegant in this black sleeveless gown with its deep V-neckline. The elongating neckline gives her a lean, classic look, while the flowing hem is a gorgeous touch.

Unlike the thicker fabrics and heavier cuts which make suiting more appropriate for the winter months, VB puts a summertime spin on this outfit. Her double-breasted tuxedo jacket features three-quarter sleeves, while her straight ankle pants show off her long legs. For maximum glam factor, accessorize with a pair of sleek black pumps for the business day or an evening function.
