Though they have been criticized and almost canceled in the past for cultural insensitive commercials in the Chinese market, sending models down their 2012 runway wearing earrings that looked like colonial “Blackamoor” statues, and homophobic rhetoric, this past year has seen them embrace diversity with their Venetian show, #DGLovesVenice and now catapulting to the forefront of fashion with one of the most talked about weddings this year.”
