Coachella is back and better than ever after 2 years of a pandemic-induced halt! This weekend, over 375 000 fans rushed to the desert for the music event that attracts some of the best there is in festival fashion. Day one was already looking promising with a stellar performance by the City Girls and looks that set the bar high! Fashion Bomb Daily has the full scoop on the hottest style moments thus far:
City Girls
The epic performance on everyone’s timelines was creative directed by Marcello von Berlin and Ade Samuel, styled by Vincent Smith with makeup by Michele Latrice and Jazz! Yung Miami and JT wore matching crystal embossed, orange costumes designed by House of Cyndarella, with their dancers in lime green Savage x Fenty two-pieces!
The duo was also spotted at the TAO Desert Daze event presented by PrettyLittleThing wearing Laurel Dewitt x Zoe Costello looks!
Megan Thee Stallion
The hiphop-filled opening weekend continued with a strong set by Megan Thee Stallion sporting Dolce and Gabanna, styled by Eric Archibald, as she debuted a new song! Her hair was styled by Kellon Deryck,
makeup by Lauren Elise Child and nails by Coca Michelle.
Anitta and Saweetie
Brazilian Bombshell Anitta swept us all away as she performed wearing 2 custom Roberto Cavalli looks!
Anitta was also joined on stage by Saweetie who stunned dressed in a customized $3,960 Etro bikini top and skirt inspired by Coogi with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.
Shania Twain and Harry Styles
Shania Twain glowed on stage draped in a sequins Halpern shift dress with Harry Styles in a sparkling Gucci jumpsuit.
Doja Cat
Off the center stage, Doja Cat slayed in full Ottolinger from the Fall-Winter 2022, with a wicked hairstyle by Jared Henderson, Ernesto Casillas makeup, nails by Saccia and Swarovski gems.
